Roberts was hired by the Holland Board of Public Works to install 11 miles of 10″ pipe cross country and through city limits into the new Holland Energy Park. Along with the pipeline installation Roberts was also responsible for HDD installations ranging from 250 lf to 1,300 lf, five station piping upgrades and all other site maintenance. Roberts was able to adapt and reduce the workforce to accommodate the amount of right-of-way being released, which required Roberts to perform the work during winter months in less than conducive working conditions.
