BP Expansion 2

The BP Expansion 2 project was completed for Enbridge in Griffith, IN and included the installation of three 2,500 booster pumps, a large prover, and a sample building. This project was not your typical pipeline project, as it required the installation of very deep pump canisters reaching 50 feet below ground surface. One challenge with this project was that the concrete for the pump canisters had to be poured in dry conditions. Since the water table in the Griffith, IN area ranges between one to three feet below ground surface, Roberts had to develop an extensive dewatering operation and maintain it 24/7 for several months.
