Buckeye 8″ Propylene Rail Loading Project

Project Type: Pump Station

Cost: $1 Million

Services Provided: Piping, Fabrication, Testing, Restoration

This project was completed for Buckeye and involved inserting an 8” pipeline into an existing 12” abandoned line. This was a unique project as we approached it from an HDD standpoint. Roberts positioned the drilling rig on the far side of the project, shot rods through the existing pipeline for approximately 1,000 ft. We then prepped the carrier pipe for insertion by installing over 50 clock springs to be used as spacers between the carrier pipe and the 12” abandoned pipe that would now be used as a casing.
